Seeing, Hearing, and Touching Abominable Things

Leviticus 5:1 And if a soul  sin, and hear the voice of 
swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or know 
of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his 
iniquity.

Deuteronomy 7:25,26 The graven images of their gods shall 
ye burn with fire; thou shalt not desire the silver or 
gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be 
snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God.

Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, 
lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly 
detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a 
cursed thing.

Deuteronomy 13:17 And there shall cleave nought of the 
cursed thing to thine hand: that the Lord may turn from 
the fierceness of His anger, and shew thee mercy, and 
have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath 
sworn unto thy fathers;

Joshua 6:19 And ye, in any wise, keep yourselves from the 
accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye 
take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel 
cursed, and trouble it.

Joshua 7:1 But the children of Israel committed a tresspass 
in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi. the son 
of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of 
the accursed thing: and the anger of the Lord was kindled 
against the children of Israel.

Joshua 7:11,12.13 Israel hath sinned, and they have also 
transgressed My covenant which I commanded them; for they 
have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also 
stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even 
among their own stuff.

Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their  
enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because  
they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, 
except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against 
tommorow; for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an 
accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel thou canst not 
stand before thine eneimies, until ye take away the accursed 
thing from among you.

hatest all workers of iniquity.

hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave 
to me.

Psalm 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and  
quicken Thou me in thy way.

Proverbs 6:16,17,18,19 These six things doth the Lord hate 
ye, seven are an abomination unto him:

A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed 
innocent blood,

An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that 
be swift in running to mischeief,

A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth 
discord among brethren.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride, 
and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do 
I hate.

Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an 
abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he 
shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he 
that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination 
to the Lord.

Proverbs 29:27 An unjust man is abomination to the just: 
and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the 
wicked.

Isaiah 33:15,16 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh  
uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that   
shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his 
ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from 
seeing evil;

He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the   
munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters 
shall be sure.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence; 
touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be 
ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not 
yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the Lord your

Jonah 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their 
own mercy.

Zechariah 8:16,17 These are the things that ye shall do; 
Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute 
the judgment of truth to his neighbour; execute the 
judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
