About the Site

The name burning bush emanates from Exodus (Shemot) 3:2,3,
the bush that Moses encountered upon Mount Horeb (Choreb),
that burned but was not consumed.

The number 613 represents the 613 commandments (mitzvot)
that Adonai gave to Moses (Moshe). It has been reported
that there are also 613 seeds in a ripe pomegrantate.

This, my very first effort, was originally designed as
an adjunct for a Messianic synagogue. When that purpose
was no longer necessary, the focus changed to Bible
Topics, although the Messianic flavor remained. As time
passed, other information was added.

The information you see in the Bible Topics section is
from the webmaster's personal collection of information
not likely to be heard in a typical Sunday morning sermon.
In addition to the topics from the collection, new ones
are researched and added from time to time. From time to
time, corrections are made. No topic is complete, and
each may considered a work in progress.

The King James Version is quoted in the topics section for
three reasons. The first is Strong's Concordance. Nearly
every word in the English writings of Scripture may be
verified by its Hebrew or Greek origin. The second reason
reason for using the KJV is that there are so many versions
of the Word, it is often difficult to pinpoint the origin of
any particular Scripture quoted by chapter and verse. The
third reason for using the KJV is that, for many years, it was
the only English version of the Bible widely available. As
as such, it is more familiar to the majority.

The "home" link you see at the bottom of most pages was placed
there for a future change to a "no frames" version so that the
site will be available to all browsers. Because the main menu
appears to the left of the content page, it is not necessary
that you click "home", that is, unless you want to see the
current time or the date.

It is recommended by one minister that you cover yourself with
prayer after you wake up in the morning by praying the Spritutal
Warfare prayers. I printed out the Healing scriptures and took
them to the hospital when I visited a dying friend. I sat at his
bedside and very quietly began to read from the healing scriptures.
By the time I got to the book of Matthew, he sat up and asked for
food. He is now alive, well and fully recovered from his illness.
HalleluYah!! The Word of God is alive!!!!

The date you see at the lower left of each page is not necessarily
the date the particular page was updated or that typographical
errors were corrected. Sometimes that date is there in order to
verify that the file transfer protocol was successful.

If you are unable to view the calendar clock at the top of the
content page, then you need to enable javascript on your Browser.
In order to do this, click on your browser, then
Edit || Preferences || Advanced. You should then see a list of
check box options. Check the box "Enable Javascript", then click
"OK".

At this time, I cannot take requests for topics to be researched;
however, in the future, I hope to be able to do so. Thank you for
the time and energy that you expend visiting the site, and I do
hope you will return from time to time to see the changes. If you
