Ancestral Sin

Numbers 32:14 And ye are risen up in your father's stead, 
an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger 
of the Lord toward Israel.

Joshua 7:11,12 Israel hath sinned, and they have also 
transgressed My covenant which I commanded them; for 
they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have 
also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it 
even among their own stuff.

Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before 
their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, 
because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any 
more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

II kings 23:24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, 
and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all 
the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and 
in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform 
the words of the Law which were written in the book that 
Hilkiah the priest found in the House of the Lord.

And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned 
to the Lord with all his heart, and with all his soul, and 
with all his might according to all the Law of Moses: neither 
after him arose there any like him.

II Kings 23:26,27 Notwithstanding the Lord turned not from 
the fierceness of His great wrath, wherewith His anger was 
kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that 
Manasseh had provoked him withal

And the Lord said, I will remove Judah also out of My sight,

II Chronicles 34:21 Go enquire of the Lord for me, and for the
people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book
that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is 
kindled against us because our fathers have not hearkened unto
the words of this book, to do according unto all that is written
concerning us.

II Chronicles 34:24,25 Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring 
evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all
the curses that are written in the book which they have read
before the king of Judah:

Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other
gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of
their hands: therefore My wrath shall be poured out upon this 
place, and shall not be quenched.

Nehemiah 9:34,35 Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests,
nor our fathers kept Thy Law nor hearkened unto Thy commandments
and thy testimonies, wherewith Thou didst testify against them.
 
For they have not served Thee in their kingdom, and in Thy great
goodness that Thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land
which Thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their
wicked works.

Psalm 106:6,7 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed 
iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Our fathers understood not Thy wonders in Egypt: they remembered 
not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked Him at the sea, 
even the Red Sea.

Psalm 109:14,15 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered
with the Lord: and let not he sin of his mother be blotted out.

Let them be before the Lord continually, that He may cut off the
memory of them from the earth.

Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted
the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in
heart.

Isaiah 43:27,28 Thy first father hath sinned and thy teachers
transgressed against Me.

Thererefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and
have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.

Isaiah 65:7 Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers
together, said the Lord, which have burned incense upon the
mountains, and blasphemed Me upon the hills: therefore will I
measure their former work into their bosom.

Jeremiah 7:22,23,24 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor
commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land
of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey My voice, and
I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in
all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well 
unto you.

But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in
the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went
backward, and not forward.

Jeremiah 7:25,26,27 Since the day that your fathers came forth out
of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all
my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

Yet they hearkened not unto Me, nor inclined the ear, but
hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they
will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but
they will not answer thee.

Jeremiah 11:7,8 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in
the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even
unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey My 
voice.

Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every
oe in the imagination of their evil heart" therefore I will 
bring upon them all the words of this Covenant, which I
commanded them to do; but they did them not.

Jeremiah 11:10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their
forefathers, which refused to hear My words: and they went
after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the
house of Judah ahve broken My Covenant which I made with their
fathers.

Jeremiah 16:10,11,12 And it shall come to pass when thou shalt
shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee,
wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against
us? or wht is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have 
committed against he Lord our God?

Then shalt thou say unto them. Because your fahters have forsaken
Me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have 
served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken Me, and
have not kept My Law:

And ye have done worse than your fathers; for behold, ye walk
every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may
not hearken unto Me:

Lamentations 5:7 Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we
have borne their iniquities.

Ezekiel 2:3 And He said unto Me, Son of man, I send thee to the
children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled 
against Me: they and their fathers have transgressed against Me,
even unto this very day.

Ezekiel 20:4 Wilt thou judge them son of man, wilt thou judge
them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

Ezekiel 20:29,30 Then I said unto them, What is the place 
whereunto ye go? And the name therof is called Bamah unto this 
day.

Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God:
Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye
whoredom after their abominations?

Ezekiel 20:36 Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the 
wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you
saith the Lord God.

Daniel 5:21,22,23 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his
heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild
assses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet
with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the Most High God ruled
in the kingdom of men, and theat He appointed over it whomsoever He
will.

And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though

But has lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have
brought the vessels of His house before thee, and thou, and thy 
lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them: and 
thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, 
and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose 
hand thy breath is; and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not 
glorified:
