Patience and Endurance

Jeremiah 12:5 If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have
wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in
the land of peace, wherein thou trustest, they wearied thee. then
how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

Luke 8:14,15 And that which fell among thorns are they, which,
when they have heard go forth, and are choked with cares and
riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to
perfection.

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good
heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with
patience.

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Romans 5:3,4,5 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also
knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with
patience wait for it.

Romnans 8:35,36,37 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we
are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him
that loved us.

Romans 8:38,39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor pincipalities, nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come,

or height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.

Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer;

Romans 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to
be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

II Corinthians 6:3,4,5 Giving no offence in any thing, that the
ministry be not blamed: But in all things approving ourselves as
the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in
necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in
tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

II Corinthians 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering,
by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned.

Ephesians 3:19 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my
tribulations for you, which is your glory.

Colossians 1:10,11 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God;

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power,
unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

I Thessalonians 1:3 Remembering without ceasing your work of
faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus
Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

I Thessalonians 3:5 For verily, when we were with you, we told
you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to
pass, and ye know.

I Thessalonians 5:14,15 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them
that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be
patient toward all men.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever
follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to
all men.

II Timothy 2:3 Therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of
Jesus Christ.

II Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions,
do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who
through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 10:36,37,38 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye
have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and
will not tarry, Now the just shall live by faith, but if any man
draw back, my soul no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 12:1,2,3 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about
with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us
run with patience the race that is set before us,

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for
the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners
against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

James 1:3,4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh
patience.

But let patience have her perfect work that ye may be perfect
and entire, wanting nothing.

James 5:7,8 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of
the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit
of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive
the early and latter rain.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts, for the coming of the
Lord draweth nigh.

James 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in
the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction,
and of patience.

James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have
heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the
Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

II Peter 1:5,6,7 And beside this, giving all diligence, and
to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and
to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness
charity.

I Peter 2:20,21,22 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted
for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do
well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable
with God.

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth:

I Peter 2:23,24 Who, when He was revile, reviled not again; when
He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him
that judgeth righteously:

Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree,
that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:
by whose stripes ye were healed.

But ye are as sheep going astray; but ye are not returned
unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

I Peter 3:14 But if ye suffer for righteousness' sake,
happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither
be troubled;

I Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so,
that ye suffer for well-doing, than for evil-doing.
