Murmurming and Complaining
Exodus 16;7,8,9 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of
the Lord: for that he heareth our murmurings against the Lord:
and what are we, that ye murmur against us?
And Moses said, This shall be when the Lord shall give you in the
evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for
that the Lord heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against Him:
and what are we? your murmuring are not aginst us, but against the
Lord.
And Moses spake unto Aaaron, Say unto all the congregation of the
children of Israel, Come near before the Lord: for He hath heard
your murmurings.
Exodus 16:12 I have hard the murmuring of the children of Israel:
speak unto them, saying, At even they shall eat flesh, and in the
morning ye shall be filled with bread, and ye shall know that I
am the Lord your God.
Numbers 11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased the
Lord: and the Lord heard it; and His anger was kindled; and the
fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were
in the uttermost parts of the camp.
Numbers 11:4,5,6 And the mixed multitude that was among them fell
a-lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said,
Who shal give us flesh to eat?
We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the
cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and
the garlick:
But now our soul is dried away: ther is nothing at all besisde this
manna, before our eyes.
Numbers 11:10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their
families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the
Lord was kinded greatly: Moses also was displeased.
Numbers 12:1,2,3 And Miriam spake against Moses because of the
Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an
Ethiopian woman.
And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath
He not also spoken by us? And the Lord heard it.
(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were
upon the face of the earth.)
Numbers 12:4,5,6 And the Lord spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto
Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of
the congregation. And they three came out.
And the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in
the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they
both came forth.
And He said, Hear now My words: If there be a prophet among you,
I the Lord will make Myself known unto him in a vision, and will
speak to him in a dream.
Numbers 12;7,8,9,10 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful
in all mine house.
With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in
dark speeches; and the similtude of the Lord shall he behold:
wherefore then are ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them; and he departed
And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and behold, Miriam
became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and
behold, she was leprous.
Numbers 14:1,2,3 And all the congregation lifted up their voice,
and cried; and the people wept that night.
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against
Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that
we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this
wilderness!
And wherefore hath the Lord brought us into this land, to fall
by the sword, that our wives and or children should be a prey ?
were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
Numbers 14:4,5,6 And they said one to another, Let us make a
captain, and let us return to Egypt.
Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly
of the congregation of the children of Israel.
And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephuneth, which
were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
Numbers 14:7,8,9 And they spake unto all the company of the
children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through
to search it, is an exceeding good land.
If the Lord delight in us, hen He will bring us into this land,
and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of
the land for they are bread for us: their defence is departed
from them.
Numbers 14:10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones.
And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the
congregation before all the children of Israel.
Psalm 106:24,25,26 Yes, they despised the pleasant land, they
believed not His word:
But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice
of the Lord.
Therefore He lifted up His and against them, to overthrow them
in the wildreness:
Lamentations 3:38,39,40 Out of the Most High proceed not evil
and good?
Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the ppunishment
of his sins?
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.
Lamentations 3:41,42 Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto
God in the heavens.
We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
Philippians 2:14,15 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without
rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among
whom ye shine as lights in the world.
Jude :16,17,18 To execute judgment upon all, and to convinced all
that are ungodly among them of al their ungodly deeds which they
have ungodly committed, and all of heir hard speeches which ungodly
sinners have spaoken against Him.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts, and
their mouth speaketh swelling words, having men's persons in
admiration because of advantage.
How hat they told you there should be mockedrs in the last time, who
should walk afer their own ungodly lusts.
