lips she forced him.

He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to

inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be
broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Isaiah 24:17,18,19 Fear and the pit, and the snare,
are upon thee, O inhabitant of earth.

And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from
the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and
he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall
be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high
are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean
dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Jeremiah 5:26 For among my people are found wicked
men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they
set a trap, they catch men.

Jeremiah 9:8,9 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out;
it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his

Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation
as this?

good? for they have diggged a pit for my soul.

and pour out their blood by the force of the sword;
and let their wives be bereaved of their children,
and be widows; and let their young men be slain by
the sword in battle.

Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou
shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they
have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for
my feet.

Ezekiel 3:18,19,20 When I say to the wicked, Thou
shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning,
nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked
way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require
at thine hand.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from
his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall
die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy
soul.

Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his
righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a
stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because
thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in
his sin, and his righteousness which he hath
done shall not be remembered; but his blood will
I require at thine hand.

man, that the righteous sin not, he shall surely

thy soul.

streets, and their gold shall be removed: their
silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver
them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they
shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their
bowels; because it is the stumblingblock of their
iniquity.

Ezekiel 17:16,17,18 As I live, saith the Lord God, surely in
the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose
oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him
in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company
make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building
forts, to cut off many persons:

Seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when,
lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things,
he shall not escape.

Ezekiel 17:19,20 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As I
live, surely mine oath that he hath despised and My covenant
that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own
head.

And I will spread My net upon him, and he shall be taken
in My snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will
plead with him there for his trespaass that he hath
trespassed against Me.

obadiah 1:7 All the men of thy confederacy have
brought thee even to the border: the men that

prevailed against thee: they that eat thy bread
have laid a wound under theee: there is none
understanding in him.
.
Malachi 3:7,8,9 For the priest's lips should keep
knowledge, and they should seek the law at his
mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of
hosts.

But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused
many to stumble at the Law; ye have corrupted the
Covenant of Levi, saith the Lord of Hosts.

Therefore I also made you contemptible and base
before all the people, according as ye have not
kept My ways, but have been partial in the law.

For as a snare shall it come on all them that
dwell on the face of the whole earth.

shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son
of Man.

which he seeketh for; but the election hath

see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto
this day.

And David said, Let their table be a snare, and a
trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompense unto
them:

Romans 11:10,11,12 Let their eyes be darkened that
they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should
fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall
salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to
provoke them to jealousy.

Now if the fall of them be the riches of this world,
and the diminishing of them the riches of the
Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

Romans 11:13,14 If by any means I may provoke to
emulation them which are my flesh, and might save
some of them.

For if the casting away of them be the reconciling
of the world, what shall the receiving of them be,
but life from the dead?

I Corinthians 1:22,23,24 For the Jews require a

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt
to teach, patient,

if God perventure will give them repentance to the
acknowledging of the truth;

And that they may recover themselves out of the
snare of the devil, who are taken captive by
him at his will.

I Peter 2:6,7,8 Wherefore also it is contained in
the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief
corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth
on him shall not be confounded.

Unto you therefore which believe He is precious: but
unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the
builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the
corner,

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even
to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:
whereunto also they were appointed.

Revelation 2:14 But I have a few things against thee,
because thou hast there them that hold the docrine of
